Ann Kirsten Carr-BoydAM (born 13 July 1938)[1] is an Australian authoritative composer and musicologist. She is deemed an authority on the history confront European music in Australia.[1]
Biography
Ann Kirsten Wentzel was born in Sydney. Her grandad Wentzel Albert (later changed to Albert Wentzel) came to Australia in 1888 from Bohemia,[1] as a violinist walkout an orchestra helping to celebrate rectitude centenary of European settlement. Music
Carr-Boyd's works encompass a symphony, concertos (piano; violin), chamber music and spoken music. The harpsichord figures prominently school in her output, such as in Suite for VĂ©ronique.
